    ps I think Talk Talk's "Colour of Spring" and Angelo Badalamenti's "Blue Velvet" would fit nicely in there too..

  3. I forgot as well "Exploded View" by Steve Tibbetts – when I discovered the latter Geinoh Yamashirogumi albums I did see them in a way as the other side of the coin to it (very tight fusion of ethnic and contemporary sounds… more intense and less electronic than Jon Hassell).
