New-wave tinged synth pop, at its best during sparse, nimble-footed sophisti-pop tracks like “Jimmy,” “Come Closer,” and personal favorite “Lay Me Down.” Sultry, swingy vocal layering courtesy of Anja Nodelijk, who continued on to record as a solo artist while still using the name Renée.
